Important Windows 11 Notification: This is a crucial reminder and notification if you are still using Microsoft Windows 10

Microsoft periodically releases a new operating system and discontinues support and security updates for the previous one. Windows 10, originally released almost 10 years ago, is now being phased out and replaced by Windows 11.  The ‘End of Life’ date for Windows 10 is October 14, 2025.

How does this impact you and your business and what are the necessary steps to complete the upgrade?

  • For machines running Windows 10, with the right specifications, the upgrade is free.
  • For machines that have adequate specifications but may be low on memory, as an example, they can be upgraded to Windows 11 for free, after updating the hardware deficiencies.
  • For older machines that have inadequate memory, slow spin-drives or a processor that does not meet the required speed or ‘generation,’ it will be necessary to replace the machines to run Windows 11.

How do we support our clients in this transition?

For our customers, we will be reviewing all of their equipment and will provide a detailed report that outlines how their equipment stands up to Windows 11 requirements, along with recommendations. We will rate the equipment based on the following designations:

  • Fully compatible and ready for Windows 11 upgrade
  • Viable computer to run Windows 11 but with the need for some adjustment, which will be specified.
  • Not compatible or upgradeable.
