Brian E. McDonnell serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Waytek, a subsidiary of Copia Enterprises, Inc. Brian acquired Waytek in October of 2009 and is on task to achieve record growth in sales and profitability through expansion of professional services and product offerings.
Brian McDonnell has over 25 years experience and a consistent track record of growing successful software and IT services companies. Prior to Waytek, Brian served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ripple Technologies, Inc, a security and compliance software company headquartered near Philadelphia. He joined RippleTech in 2003 and continued his strong track record of building successful, customer-focused organizations. While at RippleTech, he acquired and integrated two complementary businesses and successfully positioned RippleTech to become the leading provider of security, compliance and systems management tools for hundreds of businesses worldwide. Brian’s leadership, focus on the customer, and marketing savvy enabled RippleTech to achieve record growth.
As a Managing Partner for the Topline Group, LLP, he successfully helped to launch several early stage software companies and has held senior management roles in the US and abroad for Philadelphia-based Electronic Ink, Wall Data in Seattle, iMediation in Paris, and Constellar in London. Brian is a frequent industry speaker and a member of EPP, Inc’s Board of Directors and the Advisary Board of Res Partners. He received a dual degree in management and marketing from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Anita Kroll McDonnell
Chief Communications Officer
Anita McDonnell has over 25 years of experience in the field of education. In addition to her experience as an educator, Anita has knowledge and practice in web-based research and curriculum planning. At Waytek, she oversees all areas of communication, including marketing, social media and website management, and she also oversees Human Resources for the company. She holds advanced degrees in Language and Writing from the University of Pennsylvania, St. Joseph’s University and Rosemont College.
Strategic Account Operations Manager
Judy has a proven history of success in the business, having worked in the technology industry as an Account Manager for 15 years and 11 years as a Operations Manager. She has had experience in all channels of the industry, including end user sales, reselling and distribution. Judy has worked extensively with small and medium sized businesses in implementing and maintaining networks and in project management. She also has expertise with regard to Enterprise business in maintaining contracts and vendor liaisons. Judy’s strengths lie in her technical knowledge of the solutions she is providing her customers and her excellent personal skills, which help her to understand her customers’ needs.
Senior Manager Technical Services
Lou comes to Waytek with over 14 years of experience in the Information Systems field. He has worked in many vertical markets, focusing especially on Healthcare. Lou’s experience spans various phases of IT, from Helpdesk Support and Network Administration to Account Management and Project Management. He has worked with numerous vendors in IT and has extensive experience in Managed Services, Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions, Electronic Medical Records and Healthcare Network Security. Lou resides in South Jersey with his family and has a passion for gardening in his free time.
