Waytek People - Kim Gould

Kim has been with Waytek for 14 years and has made it a part of her extended family, bringing a sense of caring to her fellow employees and our customers. Kim's role in the Finance Department has developed along with her experience and expertise, and though she enjoys working with numbers, her favorite part of the job is working with the people she encounters each day.

A couple of years ago, Kim decided to initiate a recycling program at Waytek. As a mom of two young boys, she wanted to bring the recycling practices she initiated at home to her work place. We couldn't have agreed more. Away went the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Everyone pitched in on washing dishes. Kim encouraged everyone to recycle paper and started using both sides of paper for in-house printing.

Ever the numbers cruncher, Kim was quick to point out how much money we were saving in the process. In paper alone, the company now uses about a fifth the amount of paper it was using before Kim initiated the recycling program. Kim even takes it upon her self to make sure all of our used paper gets sent to recycling. We are grateful to her for helping us all go green.

Outside of work, Kim loves to spend time with her family and enjoys being a soccer mom. We wish her and her family a Happy Holiday Season!
