Our latest tech tips are Apple related. Though many of our customers do not use Apples for business, iPhones and iPads are used by many of our customers and they periodically have questions about the usage of both.

Last week, we wrote about new tech tips for the iPhone and iPad, a timely post for the many Waytek customers who received new gadgets for the holidays. Our customers are also increasingly using smartphones and iPads for work. This week, we are focusing on the new possibilities for using Microsoft Office on the iPad.

Diversify Your IT Security!

This week, Fox news published an informative article (January 26, 2012, FoxNews.com) on the state of cyber security. The popular security product, Symantec, had to advise customers to disable one of its products after hackers had stolen underlying code powering the software. The theft occured in 2006 and recent disclosures from the company revealed a more significiant risk than was initially reported.

The article suggested steps to greater IT protection.
